Holly-Jean Kadonaga
After many years singing in various musical groups, Holly- Jean joined Sweet Adelines as a member of Alberta Gold Show Chorus. Since joining the barbershop gang, she has become baritone section leader, completed the DCP program, and is now Assistant Director of Alberta Gold. She is active in local, regional and international events, and has attended I.E.S. numerous times. She joined the RMT in 2004, and looks forward to serving Region 26 for the upcoming year. Carol Argue
Carol has been a member of Sweet Adelines for 24 years, having joined Burnaby (now Westcoast Harmony) Chorus in 1986. She quickly became involved in script writing, mc-ing and chorus administration. Carol eventually branched out into Regional administration and has served Region 26 as Communications/Technology Coordinator, Team Coordinator and Education Coordinator. In 2006 Carol was acclaimed by Region 26 as the "Spirit of 26." She is a dual member with Green Heart Chorus, and temporarily became a 'Threely' - Joining City of Gardens Chorus in order to travel with them on their tour of Wales in July 2010. Mary began singing with Sweet Adelines in 1979 with North Metro Chorus, then moved to Alberta in 1986 to a place with no Sweet Adeline choruses nearby. She relocated to Edmonton in 1994, joined Gateway Chorus and over the years, has served in a variety of musical and administrative roles. She has has directed Alberta Heartland Chorus since 2003 and they achieved the first place Division A Chorus award in May 2010. Mary has been a certified Director and a member of the Regional Education Faculty since February 2002 and in 2010-2011, she is completing her second term on the Regional Management Team as Director Coordinator.
Thérèse first joined Sweet Adelines in 1982 with the Regina Chorus in Region 26. Her travels have given her the opportunity to cross regional borders with the Assiniboine Show Chorus in Region 6, but Region 26 called her home - first to Westcoast Harmony Chorus and then back to her origins in her home town of Regina, to sing for a time with Prairie Gold. Thérèse is now directing her current chorus, Prospective Fifty 26 North. She has been privileged to serve choruses in both administrative and musical leadership roles, and is excited to be a part of the Region 26 Management Team. 
Judy first joined Sweet Adelines in 1971 as a member of Lions Gate Chorus. Since that time she has been a member of Peach Blossom Chorus in Penticton, Green Heart Chorus and is now back singing with Lions Gate. Judy has served all three choruses in a variety of jobs. After directing for many years, Judy is happy to be singing again. Regionally, Judy has been involved with six Regional Conventions as either CRC or CC. She is looking forward to a new adventure, serving on the Regional Management Team as Financial Coordinator.
seems "Yvonne" was too formal for one member. Affectionately nick-named "Y-von" it slowly evolved to "Y" and always starts a conversation. Y's involvement in chorus and regional life has always centered around marketing and organization. She willingly participated in many years of Chorus Team work (Operations, History, PR & Marketing, Costuming and Committees). For 4 years you will have seen Y as your Internationally appointed Competition Coordinator and prior to that on the Steering Committee in several other positions. Y is very happy to now serve as Marketing Coordinator for the Region and welcomes the opportunity to work with all of you in creating the excitement!
Joanne first joined Sweet Adelines in 1991, singing lead in Gateway Chorus. She has held various board positions including Fund Raising Coordinator, Marketing Coordinator, and Secretary. She served three years as President of Gateway Chorus. Joanne is a charter member of Alberta Heartland Chorus, where she has served as Team Leader, Booking Agent, Newsletter Editor, Marketing Coordinator and financial coordinator.Joanne is currently in her second term on the RMT as Membership Coordinator
Leslie joined Sweet Adelines in 1991 as a member of Gateway Chorus. She credits Gateway for teaching her the administrative ropes of the organization. In 2003 she became a charter member of Alberta Heartland Chorus in Edmonton. She has served both choruses in a variety of musical and administrative roles, and has competed regionally with three quartets. Currently Leslie is a member of Hearts of Harmony Chorus in Red Deer, and she sings Baritone with Tune In! quartet. She has served on the Regional Management Team for four years - first as Marketing/Membership Coordinator, then Marketing Coordinator, and currently as Team Coordinator. Leslie feels that serving Region 26 on the Regional Management Team is an honor and a privilege.
