Heartbeat Quartet
We are Heartbeat Quartet, formed in the fall of 2024, all members of Hearts of Harmony Chorus in Red Deer Alberta.
Our first competition was at Surrey in May 2025.
Donna Potts - Bass
Melanie Pedersen - Tenor
Tracy Ward - Lead
Elaine Campbell - Baritone
As we formed the quartet, there were 3 leads and a bass.
Donna is an amazing bass who has taken an arrangement course and just finished her DCP course. She is a wonderful quartet member with great determination and a huge sense of humor.
Melanie is our tenor with a smooth, sweet voice. She has musical training and years of vocal performances to her credit.
Tracy sings lead and has sang as an alto all her life in school and church choirs until joining the Hearts of Harmony chorus. She is currently taking the DCP course and is thrilled to be part of the quartet.
Elaine is musically talented and took on the baritone part, she sets out learning tracks for the whole quartet and is also a member of the chorus Guitar Stars, a group of ladies that formed to entertain with sing-a-longs at certain performances.
