Barbershop to be included at the World Choir Games in 2012: Recently, in Pennsylvania they announced that Barbershop will be included at the World Choir Games in Cincinnati for the first time in 2012, and that Marcia Pinvidic and Dale Syverson have been invited to be part of the judging panel. This is also the first time that this event, with an estimate of more than 400 choral groups and over 20,000 competitors from 70 countries, will be held in a city in the western hemisphere, and it is quite an honour for Sweet Adelines International to have these judges invited, and especially exciting for Region 26.
RMT Applications The date for applications for the 2012-14 term has now passed. Thank you to everyone who submitted applications for the four positions advertised. We will be soliciting applications for the 2013-15 term beginning in January, 2012. The positions up for re-appointment/election will be:
