• Hotel Information

  SPECIAL RATES have been negotiated for the evening of October 14th if you require accommodation, however your reservation must be booked before September 16, 2022 to receive the special rate. Details for the hotel are:

  Special rates are listed below and are available only until September 16, 2022. At that point the rooms will be released and no longer available at that rate. In order to secure your room, you must book it yourself by calling the hotel and ask for the Sweet Adeline Reservation for October 14th. All reservations will require a valid credit card guarantee.

  All room types and rates are eligible for Wyndham Rewards, Complimentary Breakfast and WIFI. Applicable federal, provincial, and local taxes and fees will be calculated in addition to the above rate.

  There are a limited number of the $99 rooms and they are available on a first come first serve basis. Book your room NOW, and be sure to register for this exciting event once the information is available.

  Please note - the hotel is a 15 minute drive to the venue.

• Faculty / Classes

  The headlining faculty for the weekend is Sandy Marron (Master 700 Director of Lions Gate Chorus & Certified Sound Judge), with guest appearances by Regional Education Faculty members Lisa Greenough, Jo-Anne Killips, and Yvonne Meyer.

  Classes include Visual Communication, Vocal Skills Mythbusters, Speech-Level Singing, Riser Placement using a demo group, Beyond DEI: Creating a Culture of Belonging, Q&A with our own regional judges, and Storytelling Through Music (AB).

• Registration

  Registration cost:
  $100 for non-members (guests)
  $50 for members of Region 26
  $25 for youth members of Region 26

  Registration cost does not include transportation, optional add-ons, food or lodging.

  E-transfer of funds is preferred. It is also preferred that choruses register their chorus members as a group on one registration form.

  The e-transfer account (listed on the registration form) has auto deposit so if you would like a receipt, please copy the receipt from your bank

  Please mark ‘Fall workshop registration’ fee along with the number of registrants on the e-transfer for registration

  Please mark ‘Fall workshop lunch’ along with the number of lunches being ordered on the e-transfer

  If you MUST use Canada Post, please email the registration email listed for the Red Deer event on the registration form and a street address will be sent to you.

• Optional Add-on

  A catered lunch consisting of: sandwiches, fruit, veggies, devilled egg & desert is available for a cost of $20. Deadline for ordering is October 1 – the same date as registrations is due.

  Coffee, water and snacks throughout the day will be provided.

  Please indicate any dietary restrictions on the order form. If no dietary restrictions are indicated a ‘regular’ lunch will be ordered.
