About Dawn

Dawn is a certified SAI director and is currently pursuing Level 2 of the Arranger Certification Program. She has been the Assistant Director of Gateway Chorus for over 10 years, and is a founding member of Thumbs Up! quartet, who continue to entertain audiences and win medals in Region 26. Her strong foundation in music theory helps means she can make sense of arrangements, and make modifications to allow the music more singable for the singers.  Dawn designed the “Sing Like a Champion” program at Gateway, a comprehensive 6-week curriculum focused on developing singing skills with vocal freedom. Her greatest strengths lie in her inclusive approach to teaching, her ability to inspire joy, and her commitment to developing confident singers who feel valued within their ensemble.
